Ove Andrén received his MD at Uppsala University, Sweden and is currenly an Associate Professor of Urology and head of the Department of Urology at Örebro University Hospital. He works clinically as an urologist – mainly with prostate cancer patients. Dr Andrén has also been actively engaged in research since 2000 and his PhD research was on prognostic and predictive markers of prostate cancer. He has a longstanding interest in prognostic and predictive markers as well as the biology of treatment response and the role of infection and inflammation in prostate cancer development. He is providing invaluable clinical urology input to the development of OCProDx test from an end-user perspective.
